Warranty Replacement

We want every Takybox order to arrive perfectly. While we don’t manufacture the products we sell, we stand behind every shipment that leaves our warehouse. This policy explains when we’ll replace items, what’s covered, and what’s handled by the original manufacturer.
Our 1-Year Warranty
We provide a 1-Year Warranty on all products in our store.
Every item you buy from Takybox is backed by a full 12-month warranty starting from the date of delivery. If your product has a manufacturing defect, fails due to faulty workmanship, or doesn’t perform as it should under normal use, we’ll make it right — through replacement, repair, or refund.
This warranty applies to:
- Sealed hobby boxes, packs, and cases (sealed condition only)
- Sports card supplies (toploaders, sleeves, magnetic holders, binders, etc.)
- Storage and display products
- Any other physical item sold on takybox.com
To make a warranty claim, just email us at contact@takybox.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos. We’ll respond within 1–2 business days and walk you through the next steps.
What We Cover
Under our 1-Year Warranty and standard replacement coverage, we’ll take care of:
- Damaged on arrival. If your sealed product arrives crushed, dented, torn, or visibly damaged due to shipping, we’ll replace it (subject to availability) or issue a full refund.
- Wrong item shipped. If we sent you something different from what you ordered, we’ll send the correct product right away at no cost.
- Missing items. If your order shows as delivered but items are missing from the package, we’ll investigate and replace them when verified.
- Defective unopened products. If a sealed product has a clear factory defect that’s visible without opening it (broken seal, deformed box, torn shrink wrap), we’ll replace it.
- Faulty supplies and accessories. Cracked toploaders, defective binders, broken magnetic holders, or supplies that fail under normal use are covered for the full warranty period.
What We Don’t Cover
Because of how the sports card industry works, the following are NOT eligible for warranty or replacement through Takybox:
- Cards inside sealed boxes. Centering issues, print defects, surface scratches, or off-condition cards from the manufacturer are handled by the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Disappointing pulls. No autograph hits, low-value pulls, or missing parallels — these aren’t defects, they’re part of the hobby.
- Boxes that don’t match expected insertion ratios. Pull rates vary box to box. We can’t replace boxes based on what was or wasn’t inside.
- Opened products. Once a sealed box, pack, or case has been opened, it’s no longer eligible for warranty replacement.
- Damage caused by the customer. Cards or boxes damaged after delivery aren’t covered.
- Wear and tear. Normal handling marks on cards or supplies don’t qualify as defects.
- Misuse or accidents. Products damaged due to improper storage, exposure to liquid, extreme temperatures, or mishandling fall outside warranty coverage.
Manufacturer Warranties
Most of the products we sell come with their own manufacturer warranty. For card defects and pack-related issues, you’ll need to contact the manufacturer directly:
- Panini America — collector services for damaged or defective cards
- Topps — Topps Customer Service handles card-specific claims
- Upper Deck — Upper Deck’s Quality Assurance team
- Wizards of the Coast — for Magic: The Gathering and other WOTC products
- Konami / Pokémon — manufacturer-direct support for trading card games
How to Request a Warranty Claim or Replacement
Step 1 – Reach out within the warranty period. Email us at contact@takybox.com within 12 months of delivery for warranty claims, or within 7 days of delivery for shipping damage and wrong-item claims.
Step 2 – Include the essentials. Order number, clear description, photos of the issue, and photos of shipping materials.
Step 3 – Wait for our review. We’ll get back to you within 1–2 business days.
Step 4 – Return if needed. We’ll cover return shipping with a prepaid label if required.
Step 5 – Receive your replacement. Once approved, we’ll ship your replacement within 1–2 business days.
Important Rules
- Don’t open damaged boxes. Opening voids the replacement claim.
- Save the packaging. Keep the shipping box and packing materials.
- Photos are required. Claims without clear photos can’t be processed.
- One claim per item. Each issue can only be reported once.

Limitations
Our warranty and replacement coverage has a few legal limits:
- We’re not liable for any loss of resale value or future profit.
- Replacements are limited to the original purchase price.
- The 1-Year Warranty does not transfer to subsequent owners.
- We reserve the right to deny claims that show signs of fraud or misuse.
